Kerbside collections
Drivers will be collecting bins on the Good Friday, Easter Monday and Anzac Day public holidays. If Fridays or Mondays are your usual kerbside collection day, don’t forget to hop your bin out the night before.
Waste and Recycling Depots
Waste and Recycling Depots will each open one day of the Easter long weekend. FRWA depots are generally closed on public holidays, however we recognise that Easter can be a great time for gardening, home projects and clean ups. All depots are closed on Good Friday and Easter Saturday public holidays. Strathalbyn Depot will open on Easter Sunday, while Goolwa, Yankalilla and Kangaroo Island will open on Easter Monday.
All Depots will be closed on Anzac Day.
The FRWA office will be closed all Easter and Anzac long weekend.

Easter egg foil - here's your excuse to eat more chocolate
Yes, you can recycle aluminium foil wrapping from all those yummy easter eggs and bilbies. But… you should scrunch the clean and dry foil into a fist-sized ball to pop into your recycle bin. So, hop to it, that’s a fair few Easter eggs you’ll need to eat to make a fist-size ball. Enjoy.
